To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Spotify introduced the Spotify 20 feature, which shows users’ entire listening history. Details are in our news.
Spotify users don’t have to wait until the end of the year for a Wrapped-like experience that summarizes their listening habits. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the platform launched the Spotify 20: Your Party of the Year(s) feature, which covers the entire listening history.
This new experience, accessible via the mobile application, consists of vertical and shareable cards, similar to the company’s traditional year-end summaries. However, this new feature reveals not only the last year but also the user’s entire history on the platform with detailed data.
In-depth look at personal listening history
Spotify 20 includes previously unshared data, such as the first day users joined the platform, the total number of unique songs they listened to, and the first track they listened to. The experience is completed with a custom playlist of 120 of the user’s most listened to songs of all time.
These statistics can be easily shared on social media platforms, just like during Wrapped periods. This feature, which is available in 144 different markets and 16 languages, can be accessed by searching in the mobile application or via spotify.com/20.
The most popular content of the two decades
Along with personal recaps, Spotify editors have also created global playlists highlighting the most popular content from the last two decades of the platform. As part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, the company also shares remarkable data about listening trends around the world.

According to Spotify data, users have consumed over 1.2 trillion hours of audio content in total since the platform’s founding. December 24, 2025 was recorded as the day when music streaming peaked worldwide, with more than 11 billion streams.
The most listened to podcast series of all time is The Joe Rogan Experience, followed by Gemischtes Hack and Crime Junkie. The most listened to audiobook was announced as A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas.
On the music side, The Weeknd’s Blinding Lights remains the most listened to song of all time. While Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti is at the top in the album category, Taylor Swift manages to be the most listened to artist on an artist basis.
