Biostar announced that it will introduce the new generation AMD motherboards at the Computex 2026 fair. Preparations for Zen 6 processors attract attention.
Biostar became the first manufacturer to announce the new generation AMD motherboards that it will exhibit at Computex 2026. This move strengthens expectations that the company is preparing for Ryzen Zen 6 processors.
At the event to be held in Taiwan, the company will introduce its latest hardware solutions to visitors under the theme “Leading AI, Innovating the Future”. Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Biostar will introduce a wide range of products for the consumer and industrial markets.
Zen 6 Processors and New Platform Expectations
It is known that AMD is working on the Zen 6-based Ryzen family, codenamed Olympic Ridge, and these processors are expected to support up to 24 cores. While the new generation Ryzen family comes with performance and efficiency-oriented improvements, significant changes are also expected on the platform side.
Motherboard manufacturers have already begun to adapt CUDIMM and low-latency DDR5 memory technologies with EXPO 1.2 support. It is thought that the next generation motherboards that Biostar will introduce at Computex may include early designs for this new AM5 platform.
Another possibility is that Biostar will renew its existing 800 series motherboards and define them as “new generation”. Both scenarios are eagerly awaited in the technology world and will become clear during the fair.
Wide Product Range and Industrial Solutions
On the consumer side, Biostar will showcase AMD and Intel 800 series motherboards, as well as its flagship VALKYRIE series. These products will be accompanied by AMD Radeon RX series graphics cards and memory solutions that support both DDR5 and DDR4.
The company will also introduce new industrial motherboards based on the W880 platform to strengthen its position in the industrial and embedded systems market. In addition, new generation solutions supporting Intel Panther Lake and NVIDIA Jetson Thor technologies will also be shown at the fair.
Biostar’s edge AI systems built on NVIDIA Jetson platforms aim to deliver high-performance computing and real-time AI inference. These systems appeal to a wide range of uses, from smart consumer devices to industrial infrastructures.
