This new feature will allow users to ask questions about Apple products and receive personalized answers. The system will use account information, device identifiers, carrier information and position information to improve the user experience.

Chat histories provided by the virtual assistant will be saved in the system so that users can refer back to them later. Apple states that it will use the content of these chats in business analytics processes and will evaluate it to improve the assistant if users approve.

The information that some of the chat data will be transferred to third-party business partners indicates that Apple may use an external technology model in this process. The company emphasizes that it clears users’ personal identifiers from the data before these shares.

This new interface is not currently enabled for all users. It is known that Apple has added a similar virtual assistant to the Apple Support application, but this feature is not yet available for wide use.

Apple states that the information collected is shared with business partners only for the purpose of creating chat responses and improving service quality. Users can give their consent to contribute to the beautification process of the assistant if they wish.
