Redmi 17 4G, which was recently seen on EPREL lists, attracted attention with its battery capacity. The newly leaked information eliminates almost all question marks regarding the hardware details of the device.

It was previously claimed in some certification records that the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor would be used. However, recent leaks reveal that the device will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G91-Ultra chipset with a 12nm production process.

Hardware and Display Features

Redmi 17 4G, as a model positioned in the budget-friendly segment, comes with a 6.9-inch flat screen. Offering a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels, this screen is supported by a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a high brightness mode that can go up to 825 nits.

The display panel is certified for low blue light and flicker-free performance by TÜV Rheinland. In addition, the device brings with it remarkable design details such as Gorilla Glass 7i housing and Dynamic RGB lighting.

While the physical dimensions of the device are measured as 170.12 × 78.42 × 8.8 mm, its total weight is 232 grams. Offering dust and water resistance with IP64 certification, the phone will be available in Oak Green, Deep Blue, Black and Lotus Purple color options.

Camera and Battery Performance

On the storage and memory side, 4GB or 6GB LPDDR4X RAM options and 128GB and 256GB eMMC 5.1 storage areas are offered. While there is a 50MP main camera with f / 1.8 aperture on the back, there is an 8MP resolution selfie camera on the front.

Video recording capabilities are finalized at 1080p and 30fps. One of the most striking features of the device is its large battery with a capacity of 7,500mAh and 45W fast charging support.

On the software side, the phone will come out of the box with HyperOS 3 and includes security features such as a side-mounted fingerprint reader and facial recognition. Communication options include dual-band Wi-Fi and NFC support, which varies depending on the market.
