A new study conducted by YouGov reveals the levels of user satisfaction with current AI tools. This study shows that the Claude model developed by Anthropic has surpassed its Competitors and taken first place in terms of AI user satisfaction.
Data collected between March 1, 2026 and July 31, 2026 clarifies users’ perspectives on different AI assistants. Claude tops the list with a net satisfaction score of 56.2 points.
Claude Leads, Grok and Siri Fall Behind
Google Gemini is in second place with 46.5 points, while OpenAI’s ChatGPT is in third place with 46.0 points. Microsoft Copilot and Amazon Alexa are in the middle of the list, showing that they partially meet user expectations.
However, the names at the bottom of the list paint a striking picture in the world of technology. Apple’s Siri assistant and Elon Musk’s Grok model are at the bottom of the list with quite low scores in terms of user satisfaction.
This situation reveals that these tools are not considered sufficiently satisfying by users. Claude’s high prestige, even among former users, proves that its competitors have a long way to go in terms of user experience.
The Difference Between Current and Former Users
Data obtained from YouGov’s BrandIndex tracking system also reveals the difference in satisfaction rates between current and former users. Claude shows a balanced success graph by exhibiting high performance among both current and former users.
According to the research report, the widest satisfaction difference between current and former users is seen in the ChatGPT, DeepSeek, and Grok models. ChatGPT has a 63.7 point higher satisfaction rate among current users compared to former users.
The DeepSeek model ranks second with a difference of 62.5 points, while Grok is among the top three with a difference of 62.4 points. It is particularly noteworthy that the satisfaction score of the Grok model among former users is quite low at -4.7.
This data shows how decisive satisfaction is in users’ decision to continue using an AI tool. The research also examines usage habits between easily accessible tools like Siri or Alexa and actively sought-after tools like ChatGPT or Claude.
Understanding why users abandon a tool is critical for companies to identify areas for improvement. Claude’s success proves that users are gravitating towards models that provide more functional and satisfying results.
