Porsche announced the 30-piece 911 GT3 Artisan Edition model designed specifically for Japan. Details of the special series blended with traditional arts are here.
Porsche announced the 911 GT3 Artisan Edition model, specially prepared for the Japanese market, through its Exclusive Manufaktur department. This special series, of which only 30 units will be produced, is a tribute to traditional handicrafts in Japanese culture.
The car’s design is inspired by Japan’s traditional cut glass art and indigo dyeing techniques. The model offered in white body color attracts attention with Club Blue graphics and light blue details on the rear fenders.
Performance Blended with Japanese Traditions
The gradient livery used in the exterior design represents the flow of air and the flow of time. While the front wheels are painted white, the rear wheels feature carbon fiber aero covers with mesh-like patterns reminiscent of Japanese glasswork.
A similar theme prevails in the interior. Leather details embroidered with Speed Blue and white stitching extend to the dashboard, center console and door panels. Special indigo dyed patterns are used on the seats. Although traffic flow is on the right in Japan, this special series is produced only in left-hand drive.

The vehicle is equipped with the Manthey Kit, which takes the performance of the 992.2 GT3 model even further. This kit includes a four-way adjustable coilover suspension, aerodynamic updates that deliver increased downforce, and track-focused brake upgrades.
Technical Details and Accessory Collection
911 GT3 Artisan Edition hits the road with an atmospheric flat-six engine that produces 507 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. This engine, which can rotate at 9,000 rpm, is paired with a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission.

Porsche has not yet announced an official price for this special model. However, considering the Manthey equipment and limited production run, the vehicle is expected to be priced well above the standard 911 GT3 price of ¥28,680,000 in Japan.
An accessory series called Wearable Heritage Collection is also offered with the car, complementing the indigo theme of the vehicle. This collection includes a variety of products such as t-shirts, long-sleeved tops, Puma sneakers and jackets. Do you think these Japan-specific design details are enough reason to choose a standard 911 GT3?
