Pearl Abyss brought the opportunity to fight against 69 bosses again, new technical features and bug fixes with the Crimson Desert 1.5 update.
Pearl Abyss released the highly anticipated 1.5 update for its popular action game Crimson Desert on all platforms today. Version 1.05.00, available for platforms other than the Mac App Store, brings with it a comprehensive Rematch system that allows players to re-fight 69 bosses in the game world whenever they want. The developer team, which achieved a great commercial success by exceeding the five million sales threshold, focuses on improving the player experience with this update. New content offers important innovations for both those who want to re-experience challenging fights and those who are looking for more dynamic action in the game world.
Boss Fights Are Reshaped with New Modes
The new Rematch system offers players two different options. Reminisce mode maintains the same difficulty as the first battle, while Resonate mode scales the boss level according to the player’s current progress. Rather than being a source of loot, this system is designed as a pure test of skill where players can showcase their abilities.
All consumables used after the fight are fully restored, making it easier for players to experiment with strategy.
Dynamic Battlefields Are Moving Again
Pearl Abyss has activated the Re-blockades system to prevent the regions on the map from becoming silent. Thirteen different factions can take an active part in twenty-two castles and quarries. Players can easily manage this conflict frequency through game settings.
The update not only expands the battle system but also collectibles. The ability to keep legendary creatures as permanent pets has become one of the factors that increase players’ motivation to explore the world.
Technical Improvements Are Available to Players
On the graphics side, NVIDIA Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation, which comes with NVIDIA Streamline SDK 2.11.1 integration for PC users, takes the visual quality of the game to the next level. The new Sharpness Enhancement option added for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series owners provides a sharper experience by increasing visual clarity.
Developers state that these improvements in the technical infrastructure will increase the overall fluency of the game.
Achievements are Crowned with Financial Support
Crimson Desert’s sales success of five million units caused a great celebration within the studio. The company distributed a special bonus of $3,400 to each employee, emphasizing that success comes with teamwork. On the other hand, Pearl Abyss announced that, in a strategic decision, it sold EVE Online developer CCP Games back to the company’s CEO for approximately $120 million.
