Oppo Find X10 Ultra may be the only option of 2027 with its 10x optical zoom feature. Vivo, on the other hand, gave up on this technology in the X500 Ultra model.
Digital Chat Station, one of the reliable sources of the technology world, made an important claim about the Android flagship models that will be released in 2027. It is stated that the Oppo Find X10 Ultra model may be the only high-end device that offers the combination of a dual periscope camera system and a 10x superior telephoto lens.
Digital Chat Station states that this special camera setup will include various improvements compared to the previous generation. Although technical details are not shared yet, the device is expected to occupy a unique position in the industry in terms of camera capabilities.
Strategy difference between Oppo and Vivo
It is claimed that the Oppo Find X10 Ultra model will come with a 6.89 inch 2K LTPO OLED screen. The device is expected to be equipped with a 7,000 mAh battery and a 200 MP resolution Samsung HPA LOFIC main camera sensor.
On the other hand, on the Vivo front, claims that the 10x zoom goal has been abandoned come to the fore. It is stated that the 10x telephoto camera prototype tested for Vivo X500 Ultra has been canceled and the brand will focus on ISZ technology with the existing 200 MP periscope camera.

This decision by Vivo shows that it will continue to base it on the 200 MP periscope system that offers 3.7x optical zoom in the X300 Ultra model. Oppo, on the other hand, aims to offer a camera experience that differentiates itself from its competitors by strengthening its dual periscope strategy.
2027 flagship expectations
The Oppo Find X10 Ultra model is planned to be released in the first half of 2027, following the other members of the X10 series. This change in the section reveals manufacturers’ different approaches to high zoom capacity.

Vivo’s decision to withdraw from the 10x zoom race makes Oppo’s claim in this area even more clear. It remains a matter of curiosity how the competition between these two brands in camera technologies will take shape in the future.
