Xiaomi has announced its new wireless upright vacuum cleaner, the Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 5 Pro Foam Edition, designed for hard floor cleaning. Listed on the Xiaomi YouPin platform, this device speeds up the cleaning process by performing sweeping and mopping simultaneously.

The product is specifically designed for use on hard surfaces such as tiles, wood, and linoleum. Not suitable for carpet cleaning, this new model offers both active foam production and steam cleaning features.

Advanced Cleaning and Hygiene Technologies

The device produces effective cleaning foam to break down stubborn dirt, while its rotating mop roller effectively cleans surfaces. Xiaomi states that this system, with a suction power of 26,000 Pa, is designed to prevent hair from getting tangled in the roller.

The device simultaneously draws in dirty water during the sweeping process, leaving minimal moisture on the floor for quick drying. This ensures that cleaned areas are ready for reuse in a short time, while reducing the risk of water stains or moisture-related damage.

Automatic Maintenance and Station Features

The Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 5 Pro Foam Edition comes with a special docking station to maintain hygiene after cleaning. This station washes the mop roller with water at 100°C, preventing dirt from spreading.

After the washing process, the system dries with 80°C hot air, aiming to prevent bacterial growth and unpleasant odors. Currently listed on Xiaomi YouPin with a price tag of approximately $326, it is unclear when the device will be released to the global market. Given that Xiaomi frequently adds similar home appliances to its global portfolio, it is expected that the device will be released in different markets in the future.
