Xiaomi has updated its well-known 10,000 mAh portable charger offering 22.5W output power. The updated Xiaomi 10,000 mAh power bank model stands out with valuable improvements that prioritize user safety.

This new version is designed to alleviate concerns, particularly regarding battery safety. The device has undergone extensive testing to minimize risks that may be encountered in daily use.

Safety and Performance-Oriented Design

This new model released by Xiaomi is an updated version of the 22.5W version sold in the global market. While the design is very similar to previous models, the device features significant safety improvements in its internal structure.

The company states that it has implemented much stricter safety protocols to reduce the risk of battery fires and explosions. In this context, the device successfully passed needle penetration tests, proving its durability.

The device was also subjected to physical compression tests. These tests were conducted to measure how the battery would react to impacts or pressure that might occur during daily use.

One of the most notable safety details was the 135°C hot box test. The power bank successfully completed this high-temperature test without any explosion.

These tests were conducted to ensure the device remains reliable during long-term use and under various environmental conditions. With this initiative, Xiaomi aims to raise safety standards in portable chargers to a higher level.

Technical Details and Ease of Use

The new model offers practical solutions to meet users’ daily needs. One of the device’s biggest advantages is its built-in USB-C charging cable.

In addition, thanks to its additional ports, it offers the possibility to charge three different devices simultaneously. The USB-C and USB-A ports on the device provide up to 22.5W of power supply for each output.

The device’s dimensions are 105.2 x 65.2 x 26.9 mm. Weighing approximately 231.5 grams, this power bank offers a very compact structure for daily portability.

The new model does not have a smart display, but this is not considered a drawback. Users can connect the device to a laptop and access detailed information about battery health and remaining full capacity.

Xiaomi also has 67W and 45W models in its portfolio that offer faster charging speeds. However, it should be noted that these models are currently only available in the Chinese market.
