Powerful Suction and Innovative Mopping System

The Xiaomi Mijia Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop 7C focuses on cleaning dust and pet hair from hard surfaces with its 30,000 Pa suction power

. One of the most striking features of the device is its rotating roller mop system, developed differently from classic flat mop designs.

This feature helps prevent long hair or pet hair from accumulating around the brush. The side brushes bring dirt from walls or hard-to-reach areas to the center, expanding the cleaning coverage.

Thanks to its body height of only 9 centimeters, it can easily get under furniture such as beds, cabinets, and sofas. The ability to extend the roller mop outwards in corners increases cleaning performance in hard-to-reach areas.

Smart Navigation and Automatic Maintenance Features

For navigation, Xiaomi combines an AI-powered camera with a linear laser-based obstacle detection system. This system recognizes more than 220 everyday obstacles, even in low-light environments, allowing the robot to move according to the objects around it.

The laser system located on the side of the body allows for a closer cleaning route to walls and edges. Thanks to its ultrasonic sensors, the device can distinguish between different floor types.

When a carpet is detected, the roll mop is lifted 10 millimeters, and the suction power is increased to clean the carpet without wetting it. In addition, the robot, which can overcome thresholds and steps up to 2 centimeters high, maintains its mobility in areas with different floor levels.

After cleaning, maintenance processes are automatically managed by the station. The robot washes the mop roller at the station and then dries it using hot air in about two hours.

This aims to prevent problems that may arise from the mop remaining damp. The collected dust is stored in a 2.5-liter antibacterial bag, and it is stated that this container can be used for up to 75 days without emptying.

The station also houses a 4-liter clean water tank and a 3.5-liter dirty water tank. The Xiaomi Mijia Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop 7C is available for pre-order on the Xiaomi Youpin platform for 2,299 yuan, which is approximately $342.
