Xiaomi Launches New Game Space for Gamers

Xiaomi Launches New Game Space for Gamers

With the HyperOS update, Xiaomi removes Game Turbo and replaces it with the Game Space application, which offers advanced performance profiles.

Making a big change in the smartphone world, Xiaomi is retiring its well-known game acceleration tool Game Turbo with the new generation operating system HyperOS. With this move, the company officially introduced its new Game Space application, which aims to offer its users a much more comprehensive and customizable experience.

This new interface, which became accessible with HyperOS updates that started to be distributed on a global scale, allows players to instantly optimize device performance and create game-specific profiles. This transition, part of Xiaomi’s strategy to modernize its software ecosystem, aims to set a new standard in performance management for portable gamers.

  • Xiaomi is completely discontinuing the Game Turbo brand with the HyperOS operating system.
  • The new Game Space application offers users special game-based performance profiles.
  • Thanks to advanced individualization options, the device’s hardware resources are used more efficiently.

Xiaomi Reshapes the Software Ecosystem with HyperOS

Xiaomi’s transition from the MIUI interface to HyperOS is considered one of the biggest software transformations of recent years in the technology world. This change is not limited to the name of the operating system alone, but extends to the most basic components of the system. Game Turbo software, which has been used to optimize game performance on Xiaomi devices for many years, is replaced by Game Space in line with this new vision. The company is creating a more holistic user experience with this new name and interface.

With Game Space, performance control in portable games is completely in the hands of users.

Game Space App Offers Advanced Performance Options

Game Space differs from previous versions with the detailed settings and technical customizations it offers to users. The application includes options such as GPU frequency, touch reaction sensitivity and frame rate (FPS) limits, which can be determined differently for each game. ‘Performance Mode’, offered for gamers who want to push the device’s hardware, especially in productions that require high graphics power, provides a smooth gaming experience by operating the processor and graphics unit at the highest level. On the other hand, ‘Balanced’ and ‘Saving’ modes are also available in the system for those who want to preserve battery life.

The interface of the application has also been completely renewed in accordance with contemporary design languages. Game Space, which has a more minimalist and accessible menu structure, provides instant access to many functions with a quick panel that is opened by sliding from the side of the screen during the game. From this panel, it is possible to record the screen, control the network delay (ping) and silence the notifications in the background with a single touch.

Mobile Gaming Experience Strengthens with Customizable Settings

One of the most interesting aspects of the new software is its visual optimization tools. Game Space offers filters that can digitally optimize games’ color palettes and contrast ratios. In this way, players can see dark areas more clearly in competitive games or change the atmosphere of the game according to their taste. In addition, Xiaomi’s artificial intelligence-based optimization engine always monitors the device’s temperature values and dynamically adjusts hardware frequencies to prevent overheating.

This new breakthrough by Xiaomi is considered not only as an interface update, but also as an indicator of the importance the brand attaches to its player base. Game Space, which will become the default game center on all new devices included in the HyperOS ecosystem, is preparing to include innovations such as more social features and cloud-based gaming support with future updates.
