Xiaomi has officially announced the launch of the beta program for its highly anticipated new interface, Xiaomi HyperOS 4 . The first test versions of the program have been made available to users worldwide for selected device models. Updates currently available for Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Xiaomi 17, and Leica Leitzphone by Xiaomi models are presented in a form that participants can manually check via the Settings menu.
It is expected that the comprehensive testing phase will accelerate in the coming days with the inclusion of Xiaomi 15 series and 17T models. The new version aims to significantly transform the user experience with visual innovations as well as advanced AI-powered features.
The new interface offers Liquid Glass design and advanced AI tools.
Update support is planned to be extended to Xiaomi 15 and 17T series on Thursday.
Super AI Assistant 2.0, which works with the MiMo large language model, is included throughout the system.
Visual Experience Renewed with Liquid Glass
With HyperOS 4, Xiaomi is making a fundamental change in its interface design language. This new design concept, called Liquid Glass, makes the overall aesthetic of the operating system more modern and fluid. Basic elements such as the control center, quick settings menus, folder structure, and lock screen are now supported by translucent effects and real-time light reflection technologies. These visual updates aim to provide users with a more in-depth and interactive interface experience.
AI Powered by Super AI Assistant 2.0
One of the most striking innovations of the new operating system is Super AI Assistant 2.0, powered by Xiaomi’s self-developed MiMo large language model. This system offers much smarter and more contextual analyzes across the device. For example, thanks to the ‘Inspiration Ball’ feature, users can instantly search by dragging text or images on the screen, or start navigation on a map.
In addition, the ‘Super Island’ feature located around the front camera allows for more practical tracking of live notifications and system statuses. Features such as automatic voice transcription and advanced photo album browsing also increase efficiency.
List Being Prepared for Future Updates
Although Xiaomi has not yet officially announced which devices will upgrade to the stable version, a comprehensive list is anticipated in line with current update policies. Xiaomi’s 14 and 15 series, as well as a wide range of Redmi and Poco models, are expected to receive this update. Users can find out if their devices are on these lists by following the brand’s new announcements.
