Samsung rolled out the One UI 8.5 update to 44 different Galaxy devices. Details about all models that received the update and their future plans are in our news.
Samsung started distributing it in May after beta tests that lasted about five months. OneUI 8.5announced that it has delivered the update to all Galaxy devices it previously announced. This new Android-based version was first introduced to users in the Galaxy S25 series.
According to the information shared by the company via Samsung Newsroom, the One UI 8.5 update is a total of 44 Galaxy devicesApproved for. In a short time, all approved models in the Galaxy S, Galaxy Z, Galaxy Tab and Galaxy A series received the update.
Updated models and details
Among the models that received the update are the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip models, Galaxy Tab S11, Tab S10 and Tab S9 family and many mid-segment phones from Galaxy A56 to Galaxy A15. Samsung also offered the One UI 8.5 update to some devices that were not previously included in the official list.
These devices include models such as Galaxy A06, Galaxy M56, Galaxy M55, Galaxy M16, Galaxy F56, Galaxy F55, Galaxy F54 and Galaxy XCover 7 Pro. The company is expected to provide the One UI 8.5 update to a few more Galaxy models in the coming period. Since the update is rolled out gradually, it may take a few days for some users to appear on their devices.
Future plans and One UI 9
On the other hand, Samsung has also started developing One UI 9 based on Android 17. While the One UI 9 beta program is currently ongoing for the Galaxy S26 series, the stable version is expected to be released in July 2026.
The update list includes flagship models such as Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, S25 Edge and S25 FE, as well as foldable devices such as Galaxy Z TriFold, Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7 and Z Flip 7 FE.
Additionally, Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S10+, Tab S10 Ultra, Tab S10 FE, Tab S10 FE+, Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+, Tab S9 Ultra, Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ models also support the update.
A56, A55, A54, A36, A35, A34, A26, A25, A17, A16, A15 and A06 models from the Galaxy A series are also on the list.
Galaxy M56, M55, M55s, M16, M06 and Galaxy F56, F55, F54, F06 and XCover 7 Pro devices are among other models that received the update.
