Samsung has accelerated the One UI 8.5 update. Check out the current list of Galaxy S, Z, A, M and Tab series devices receiving the update.
Samsung has accelerated the distribution process of the stable One UI 8.5 version, making the update available for a large number of Galaxy devices. The global distribution process, which started on May 11, started with upper segment models such as the Galaxy S25 series and Galaxy Z Fold 7.
After five months of beta testing, the company rolled out the update to a wider range of devices and also included mid-segment models in the process. More affordable devices such as the Galaxy A16 can now also access this new software version.
List of Galaxy Devices Receiving Updates
Samsung is rolling out the One UI 8.5 update to many models in the Galaxy S, Z, A, M, Tab and XCover series. Among the devices that received the update are the Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, S25 Edge and S25 FE models.
Along with the Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra and S24 FE, Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra and S23 FE users also got the new version. On the foldable side, Galaxy Z TriFold, Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Z Flip 7 FE, Z Fold SE, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 are receiving the update.
While Galaxy A56, A55, A36, A35, A26, A17 and A16 models are updated in the A series, Galaxy M56 is on the list in the M series. On the tablet side, Galaxy Tab S11, S11 Ultra, S10+, S10 Ultra, S10 Lite, S10 FE, S10 FE+, S9, S9+, S9 Ultra, S9 FE, S9 FE+, Tab A11+ and Tab Active 5 support the update.
Finally, Galaxy XCover 7 Pro and XCover 5 Pro models were also included in this list. Unlike previous mid-level updates, the company is targeting a much wider range of devices this time.
Future Updates and Expectations
Although Samsung has not yet released an official list of eligible devices, the scope of the update is expected to expand further in the coming days. Distribution speed increases noticeably, especially in mid-segment devices.
Although some of the premium models have not yet received the update, this does not slow down the update process of other devices. Users can check the latest information released for their devices by following Samsung’s official channels.
