Google has determined the scope of use of its newly announced Gemini Intelligence infrastructure. The company announced that these new features will primarily be available on Android devices that meet the most advanced technical needs.

According to information made through official sources, Gemini Intelligence features require high hardware standards. This infrastructure is powered by Nano AI models running on the device.

Hardware Needs Determined

In order for the system to work efficiently, reasonable technical conditions must be met. Google requires users to have Nano v3 or newer with AI Core.

In addition, the device must have at least 12 GB of RAM. In addition, the system can work with a flagship-level processor.

Gemini Intelligence, sets a very high performance threshold due to its technical infrastructure. For this reason, mid-range Android devices have very limited access to these features.

The Wait Will Continue for Mid-range Devices

Google states that it will take time for mid-range Android devices to have widespread access to this infrastructure. Current plans show that it may be until the end of 2027 for mid-segment devices to fully achieve these features.
