Vivo is preparing to introduce the highly anticipated vivo X500, Recent leaks shared by Digital Chat Station on Weibo shed light on the design details, screen sizes, and powerful processor architectures of the new series.
These devices, which stand out with both their design language and hardware capabilities, are significant options developed for users seeking high performance. The company’s new flagship series aims to set new standards in the market, particularly with its camera modules and battery capacities.
New Camera Design Offered in Pro Models
New leaks indicate a significant change in the design language of the vivo X500 series. In particular, the vivo X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max models feature a large, circular camera module placed in the center of the device. The standard vivo X500 model, on the other hand, features a more minimalist approach with a smaller circular camera bump positioned in the upper left corner of the rear panel.
Compared to previous generation designs, these new devices promise a more ergonomic grip experience with their more rounded corners. The new design language gives smartphones a more contemporary and sophisticated look.
Powerful Processors Boost Performance
The processor technologies at the heart of the vivo X500 series will take the performance level of the devices to the top. While the standard X500 model comes with a processor based on 3nm architecture, the Pro and Pro Max variants will be powered by more advanced 2nm chipsets. Expectations in the industry are focused on these processors being the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 series. The standard model is expected to use the Dimensity 9500 or an optimized version of this chip, the 9600s.
Camera and Battery Capacities Stand Out
The vivo X500 Pro Max, positioned at the top of the series, boasts a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, making a strong statement in photography. The X500 Pro model comes with a combination of a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. To handle all this hardware load, a fairly high battery capacity of 7,000 mAh is planned to be standard across the series. This creates a critical advantage for consumers seeking a long-term usage experience.
High battery capacity and advanced lens technologies take the flagship experience to the next level.
How do you think vivo’s choice of a larger battery capacity and design changes in the new X500 series will affect competition in the market? You can join the discussion by sharing your thoughts in the comments section.
