vivo, one of the leading brands in smartphone technology, has announced the official launch date of its eagerly awaited new flagship series, the vivo X500 family, as September. Aiming to continue the success of the vivo X300 series, the new product range will consist of three different models: vivo X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max.
According to the company’s official announcements on Weibo, these new devices promise to usher in a new era in the portable world in terms of both photography and image recording capabilities. The series, which will be available to users with its launch in September, is equipped with professional-level imaging technologies.
Professional Shooting Experience Offered
Users will be able to shoot 4K resolution at 240fps slow motion thanks to this new sensor. Additionally, 4K 120fps HDR video recording support will ensure high-contrast and detailed images even in low-light environments. Designed especially for video content creators, these features further enhance the proximity of flagship smartphones to professional cameras.
Stabilization Features Improved
Another significant innovation on the imaging side is in stabilization technologies. The vivo X500 Pro Max guarantees shake-free shooting with its 3-degree optical image stabilization (OIS) on the main rear camera. Additionally, the entire series offers stabilization according to the CIPA 7.0 standard used in professional photography equipment, minimizing shake in moving shots.
The vivo X500 series includes significant upgrades not only in the camera but also in performance and display.
Hardware and Design Updated
In addition to video recording capabilities, significant improvements are expected in the overall hardware performance, operating system optimizations, and display technologies of the vivo X500 series. The company stated that it will share more technical details about the devices with the public in the coming days before the September launch.
