Organized for the sixth time this year by NTT DATA Business Solutions Turkey, the Transformation NOW! The event brought together business and technology leaders at Tersane Istanbul on September 17th. At the summit, attended by approximately 1,500 people, the transforming business models of companies in the age of cloud computing and generative artificial intelligence were discussed. The most striking announcement of the event was NTT DATA’s new secure business platform axet, which houses in-house generative artificial intelligence spies.
The opening speech of the summit was given by Dr. [Name], General Manager of NTT DATA Business Solutions Middle East, Turkey and Africa Region. Bahri Danış assessed the roadmap that managers need in rapidly changing market conditions. Stating that company executives struggle to find direction in investments in technology, Danış emphasized that the real guide is not the technology itself, but the direct business models.
In his speech, Danış shared details about axet, the company’s new corporate platform that will soon be available for general use, and drew attention to the platform’s technical structure. Instead of a publicly accessible standard cloud system, axet offers a closed, secure structure hosted directly on NTT DATA servers and operating with major license models (LLM). Containing more than 50 sector-specific productive AI spies, the system aims to directly support the operational processes of company employees.
Leadership and Autonomous Businesses: From Intention to Action
During the sessions held throughout the event, it was emphasized that the understanding of leadership needs to evolve from a classic experience-oriented structure to flexible and knowledge-oriented models. SAP EMEA Head of AI, Jesper Schleimann, stated that the business world has now entered the “age of intention,” and companies are spending a large portion of their time defining what they want to achieve.
Critical Takeaways from the Summit
It was emphasized that in the era of exponential growth, classic 3-5 year plans have lost their flexibility, and rigid corporate hierarchies need to be made more flexible for innovation.
