Turkey-based technology manufacturer Reeder introduced its new foldable phone S71 Flip model, developed within the scope of its domestic production strategy, to users. The device is among the first vertical foldable phone options produced in Türkiye.

The company states that the development process of this new model was completed as a result of more than two years of R&D work. Reeder S71 Fliptook its place on the shelves with a price tag of 28 thousand TL.

Details of the Domestic Production Foldable Phone

Reeder S71 Flip draws attention with its vertical form factor and is offered to users with a special hinge mechanism. The harmony of the screen, case and mechanical parts of the device was designed with the technical studies carried out by the company itself.

The front of the phone has a 6.85 inch AMOLED screen. On the hardware side, the MediaTek MT6789 processor is preferred and this processor is accompanied by 6 GB of RAM.

Offering 128 GB of storage capacity, the device comes with a 64-megapixel main sensor on the camera side. The phone is powered by a 3,750mAh capacity battery for daily use, meets its power needs from this unit.

Design and Technical Specifications

A different approach is adopted in the external design of the device than many of its competitors in the market. There is no auxiliary screen on the outside of the phone, and this makes the device have a simple appearance.

The model, which was released with two different color options for users, was developed with the aim of expanding the range of domestic technology products. In its notification to KAP, the company emphasizes that this product is an important step for its domestic production strategy.

Aiming to bring a new breath to the foldable phone segment, Reeder has moved its domestic production capacity to a different form factor with the S71 Flip.
