Google is expected to introduce its new Pixel 11 series at an event on August 12th. The first concrete details about the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, one of the standout models in this new product family, have surfaced.

The leaked images, shared by the famous leak source Evan Blass, shed light on the device’s design and some technical specifications. The leaked documents confirm that the Pixel 11 Pro Fold will come with an 8-inch internal screen.

New Design Details and Pixel Glow Feature

The new foldable phone largely shares a similar design language with the Pixel 10 Pro Fold released last year. However, the back of the device features a colorful LED lighting system called Pixel Glow. This new hardware aims to provide functional use for notifications and various status indicators.

Some minor changes are also noticeable in the camera module. While the black glass-covered camera island from the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is retained, the flash and microphone have been moved from the outside and placed inside this black glass area. With this move, Google aims to achieve a more integrated and clean look on the back of the device.

Hardware and software-focused innovations

The images also reveal that Google will place a strong emphasis on Gemini Intelligence features in its marketing strategy for the new Pixel family. This strong emphasis on the software side shows that the device is designed to prioritize user experience.

On the hardware side, leaks indicate that the device will be powered by Google’s new generation Tensor G6 processor. Additionally, a 4,800 mAh battery is expected to be included in the device.
