Organized Crime is preparing to meet viewers this time in series format. Developed for Netflix by Yılmaz Erdoğan, Organized Crime: Karun’s Treasure will take its place on the platform on October 16th. Shortly before the release date, Netflix revealed the details that viewers were curious about by sharing the first official trailer from the project.

From the Big Screen to Digital: Organized Crime Returns to the Screens

Following the first film released in 2005 and its sequel Organized Crime: The Carp Trap in 2019, the story is moving to a digital streaming platform. Produced by BKM, the series is directed by Şenol Sönmez, while the script, as always, belongs to the creator of the series, Yılmaz Erdoğan. The new production centers on a veteran of the organized crime world who plans to retire but is prompted to pull off “one last heist” after a mysterious treasure map surfaces.

Star Names Reunite in the Same Cast

The new series brings together both iconic names from previous films in the series and well-known newcomers to the cast. The notable cast in the project is listed as follows: Demet Akbağ, Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, Uraz Kaygılaroğlu, Bensu Soral, Burcu Özberk, Ekin Türkmen, Organized Crimes: The Treasure of Karun is already creating high expectations in the domestic digital series segment with both its cinematic legacy and its large cast.
