According to information from reliable leak sources, OnePlus is developing a new compact device that is expected to be called “OnePlus 16T”.

In this era where screen sizes are gradually increasing in the smartphone world, the model, which attracts attention with its 6.3-inch screen that makes it easy to use with one hand, is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor with 2nm architecture, which has not been introduced yet.

The Compact Flagship Market Is Not Quitting

While some smartphone users prefer devices with huge screens, a significant portion of them are still looking for high-end equipped phones that they can easily carry in their pockets and use easily with one hand.

OnePlus appealed to this audience with the OnePlus 15T model that it introduced in the Chinese market in recent months.

This device, which attracted great attention with its 6.32-inch screen and huge 7,500 mAh battery, was expected to arrive in global markets under the name OnePlus 15s. However, sources close to the company report that this plan was canceled and the OnePlus 15s model was shelved.

The new device, whose development process continues smoothly according to leaks and is expected to be named OnePlus 16T, aims to fit huge power into its small case.

OnePlus 16T: Massive Power in a Small Case

Looking at the screen features of the device, it is stated that it will be 6.3 inches in size and will come with a completely flat structure. This flat panel design offers a great advantage, especially for portable gamers who do not like curved screens.

While it is stated that the screen will have a “very high refresh rate”, it seems possible to maintain or move the 165Hz refresh rate of the previous generation 15T model further.
