OnePlus is being removed from shelves

OnePlus is being removed from shelves

OnePlus devices are being removed from stores. The future of the brand, which was replaced by Nothing phones, remains uncertain.

OnePlus continues to come to the fore with the difficult process it has experienced recently. The company’s devices are being removed from Best Buy stores in the US, being replaced by Nothing phones.

Reddit users noticed OnePlus devices being removed from display areas at local Best Buy stores. This development means a significant change for one of the brand’s last remaining physical sales points after the end of its operator partnerships in the USA.

Nothing Era Instead of OnePlus in Stores

Jeff Moore from Wave7 Research, which conducts market research, states that OnePlus’ presence in stores has ended in recent weeks and this gap has been filled with Nothing products. Nothing Phone (3) and Phone (4a) Pro models are now displayed at Best Buy locations instead of OnePlus devices.

Images taken by Wave7 in October 2025 showed OnePlus being displayed alongside brands such as Samsung, Motorola, Google Pixel and Blu. However, current data proves that the Nothing brand now stands out in these areas. Observations made in stores in Kansas and California reveal that general display areas are being rearranged, with brands such as Samsung and Google Pixel moving to their own dedicated areas.

OnePlus devices remain on sale on Best Buy’s website for now. In some locations, the option to pick up from the store is still active for users.

OnePlus’ Future Remains Uncertain

These developments raise question marks about OnePlus’ future in the US market. The company announced in its statement at the end of April that it was evaluating its future in Europe.

The company confirmed that a similar situation applies to the North American market. OnePlus North America states that it is reviewing its regional roadmap and product strategy. The company emphasizes that users are assured of after-sales support, software updates and rights.

Previous reports indicated that OnePlus may choose to downsize its operations in global markets, especially Europe. As part of Oppo’s restructuring of its sub-brands, OnePlus was merged with Realme earlier this month. These strategic changes are reshaping the brand’s presence around the world.

What do you think about OnePlus’ current situation in the US and European markets?
