Samsung took the second big step within the scope of the One UI 8.5 Beta Program prepared for Galaxy S23 series users. Coming approximately three weeks after the first beta version was released, the One UI 8.5 Beta 2 update has officially started to be distributed for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra models in India and South Korea.

This new software package, approximately 700 MB in size, aims to fix critical errors on the devices and make the user experience more stable by coming with the April 2026 security patch.

Update Resolves Many Critical Errors

One UI 8.5 Beta 2 eliminates the most annoying technical glitches that users encountered in the first version. Problems that directly affect the quality of communication, such as delays in incoming calls or complete blackout of the screen, are resolved with this package.

In addition, the problem of the screen not turning off or turning on prematurely as a result of the proximity sensor malfunctioning during the call is among the fixed errors.

Developers have completely eliminated the green lines seen in 4K HDR video recordings, specifically to improve multimedia performance.

Sudden crashes in the Bluetooth connection and multi-touch errors encountered when the device’s accessibility settings are turned on are also history with this version.

Samsung’s acceleration of the beta process signals that the stable version will reach all users very soon.
