NVIDIA Control Panel Is Becoming History

NVIDIA is making a significant change in the driver world with the release of GeForce Graphics Drivers 610.47 WHQL. The company is officially ending the support of the NVIDIA Control Panel application, which has been used for 20 years.

With the new update, the Control Panel is completely removed from systems that provide clean images. Users who switch from old drivers need to manually delete the application from their systems.

Era of NVIDIA App Instead of Control Panel

NVIDIA moves all functions on the Control Panel to the NVIDIA App software. The company states that it will no longer carry out any feature updates, bug fixes or maintenance work for this software.

However, users who need it can continue to download the Control Panel from the Microsoft Store. For RTX PRO GPU users, this process will continue for a while until the full integration of corporate features into the NVIDIA App.

Other Innovations with the New Driver
