Honor continues its argument in the tablet market with new models. After the standard Honor Pad

The company officially announces the new Honor Pad X9 Max model with a silent launch in the UK.

As its name suggests, this device, equipped with a much larger screen, a huge battery and advanced multi-mission capabilities compared to the previous members of the series, is coming to change the balances in the mid-segment tablet market. Developed with a focus on both entertainment and productivity, the device aims to create a more affordable alternative to upper segment devices with its current hardware and large screen.

Stunning Display and Multimedia Performance

The most striking technical detail of the new Honor Pad X9 Max model is, of course, its large screen. The front surface of the device has a 13-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2500 x 1560 pixels (2.5K). Thanks to the 120Hz screen refresh rate, a fluent experience is provided in games and interface transitions, while 700 nits peak brightness and 228 ppi pixel density ensure that the scenery remains clear and vivid.

This screen, with 1.07 billion color reinforcement, offers a very high screen-to-body ratio of 88 percent, making consuming multimedia content much more enjoyable.

For users who care about their eye health, TÜV Rheinland low blue light and flicker-free screen certifications are available in the hardware. In addition, eye fatigue is minimized thanks to the Paper-Like viewing mode and DC dimming technology, which enhance the long-term reading experience.

In order to take multimedia consumption to the next level, the device features four IMAX Enhanced certified speakers. These speakers, when combined with the high-resolution screen, provide a cinematic sound experience while watching movies and TV series.

Powerful Hardware and Huge Battery

At its heart, the tablet carries the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor, one of Qualcomm’s new generation chipsets. Designed with a total of eight cores, four efficiency-oriented and four performance-oriented (capable of speeds up to 2.9 GHz), this chip easily meets daily use, office applications and multimedia requirements.

The device takes its place on the shelves with up to 6 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage options. For users with insufficient storage space, the device also includes a microSD card slot that provides up to 2 TB capacity.

When we come to the power side, which is perhaps the fastest point of the device, we are greeted by a huge battery with a capacity of 10,100 mAh inside the case.

Honor states that this large battery offers up to 16 hours of uninterrupted video playback or up to 13 hours of reading time on a single charge.

Moreover, 45W fast charging support is integrated into the device to charge this large battery in a short time. All these giant hardware components are successfully fitted into a stylish aluminum body that is 6.72 mm thin and weighs only 618 grams.

Software, Cameras and Pricing

Honor Pad X9 Max comes out of the box with the Android 16-based MagicOS 10 operating system, which is the latest software. Software advantages such as advanced artificial intelligence features, desktop format document management and fast document sharing between different platforms (Android, iOS, HarmonyOS, Windows, macOS) allow the device to turn into a workstation.

There are 5-megapixel resolution cameras with autofocus support on both the front and back. On the communication side, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1 and USB Type-C standards are used. For professionals and students looking for productivity, the Honor Magic Pencil 4s smart pen and smart Bluetooth keyboard rest are also offered optionally.

Honor Pad X9 Max, which first went on sale in the UK market, is listed in a stylish gray color option. The starting version of the device, which offers 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, carries a price tag of £ 349.99 (approximately $ 470). For those who want to increase performance, the upper version with 6 GB RAM and 256 GB storage is offered to users at a price of £449.99 (approximately $600).

It is not yet officially announced when Honor will bring this new price performance model to Türkiye and other global markets.
