Peripheral device manufacturer Logitech is preparing to introduce its new ultraportable mouse model designed for use with laptops and tablets. This new device, which can be easily folded during transportation, focuses especially on the needs of mobile users.

The design of the device is similar to Microsoft’s Surface Arc Mouse model. However, Logitech takes this flexible design approach one step further and allows the mouse to be completely foldable.

Foldable design and touch control

Logitech’s new mouse, whose official name has not been announced yet, turns on during use and turns into a classic computer mouse form. In order to maintain its compact structure, the device uses a touch-sensitive surface instead of a physical scroll wheel.

Adaptive Touch ScrollingThis technology, called the wheel, performs the traditional wheel function via a touch area. The scrolling speed is determined by the user’s finger movements on this small viewing area.

The design of the mouse offers a structure suitable for both left and right-handed users. Thanks to its Bluetooth connection, the device can pair with three different devices at the same time.

The optical sensor and most of the other hardware components are located on the front of the mouse, just below the keys. This layout ensures that the device takes up minimal space when folded.

Technical details are still unclear

There is currently no detailed information about the technical features of the new mouse. Information such as resolution values ​​of the device, battery life, sales price and release date have not been shared yet.

Although Logitech shared marketing images about the product, it is not clear when the device will be on the shelves. Users are eagerly waiting for what kind of experience this new foldable design will offer in daily use.
