According to MOVA and KONDA research, robot vacuum cleaners are the first thing that comes to mind when smart homes are mentioned in Turkey. The new models introduced at IFA 2026 are now on sale in Türkiye.
Smart home technologies and artificial intelligence integration are rapidly transforming the daily habits of households in Turkey. A comprehensive study conducted in urban and metropolitan areas in collaboration with MOVA and KONDA Research reveals striking data ranging from the prevalence of AI tools and the time saved by smart devices to the names given to these devices and consumer expectations. Simultaneously, MOVA is officially launching its next-generation flagship models, the V70 Ultra Complete and Z70 Ultra Roller Complete, announced at IFA 2026, in Turkey.
Artificial Intelligence and Smart Home Habits: Robot Vacuum Cleaner is the First Choice
A study conducted with the participation of 1,454 people through the KONDA-mediated panel shows that in Turkey, technology has moved beyond being a theoretical area of interest and is directly taking over routine household responsibilities. While 62% of the general participant group stated that they use at least one artificial intelligence device, this rate climbs to 72% among robot vacuum cleaner owners. Adaptation is almost complete among the young population and students: the rate reaches 88% in the 18-29 age group and 94% among university students.
Users’ expectation from technology is not merely operational speed; It is to directly delegate repetitive household tasks such as sweeping, washing dishes, ironing, and laundry to intelligent algorithms. In this context, when asked about the concept of a “smart home,” robot vacuum cleaners are the first thing that comes to mind for 65% of the participants. This rate reaches 74 percent among those who personally own the device. Televisions come in seconds with 10 percent, while smartphones and refrigerators lag further down the list. This picture confirms that robot vacuum cleaners have become the main automation step in the heart of the home.
Time Saving and Life Comfort Stand Out
One of the most concrete gains revealed by the research is highlighted by the weekly time savings data. Users who have smart technologies in their homes save an average of 3.3 hours per week, while this time increases to a net 4.6 hours for robot vacuum cleaner owners. As the number of smart devices in the household increases, the free time gained also increases exponentially:
This extra time gained is mostly spent on rest and sleep. 79% of users describe these devices as tools for reducing physical fatigue and providing comfort; 70% use them for maintaining the overall order of the home, and 57% use them to spend time with loved ones. The fact that only 4% of users see technology as a “status symbol” shows that consumers are focusing on direct benefits and practical solutions.
The bond between the user and the device also reaches remarkable dimensions. 67% of robot vacuum cleaner owners consider their device an indispensable part of their home, and 42% give their vacuum cleaner a direct name. Female names and adjectives indicating affection and friendliness are the most common choices.
New Generation MOVA Robot Vacuum Cleaners in the Turkish Market
In this period where the trend of delegating routine household chores to technology is increasing, MOVA is bringing two flagship robot vacuum cleaner models, unveiled at IFA 2026, to the shelves in Turkey. Both models stand out with their high suction power and obstacle-clearing capabilities.
MOVA V70 Ultra Complete Technical Specifications
Designed to target difficult corners and furniture bases, the V70 Ultra Complete promises top-level cleaning performance in its segment with 42,000 Pa of suction power. The MaxiReachX™ system in this model allows the mop to extend outwards up to 17 cm and the side brush up to 12 cm, eliminating blind spots. Thanks to the StepMaster™ 2.0 infrastructure, the device can overcome thresholds and obstacles up to 9 cm in height, and its bagless EcoCyclone™ dust container and self-cleaning multi-functional station minimizes the need for manual maintenance.
MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller Complete Technical Specifications
Focusing on floor cleaning and mopping solutions, the Z70 Ultra Roller Complete combines 36,000 Pa suction power with the HydroForce™ Mopping 2.0 architecture. The system provides a continuous supply of clean water to the 270 mm wide microfiber roller mop during cleaning while simultaneously separating dirty water. The AutoShield™ technology that protects carpet surfaces, the StepMaster™ 2.0 with 9 cm of roughness capability, and the AI-powered pet and object detection system are among the product’s standout features.
Consumer trends in Turkey clearly show that smart home appliances are no longer a luxury, but tangible aids in managing daily time. New generation devices equipped with high suction power, autonomous maintenance stations, and advanced mapping solutions continue to be at the heart of this transformation.
