Logitech G512 X announced: Analog and Mechanical in One

Logitech G512 X announced: Analog and Mechanical in One

Logitech announced the G512 X model, a new gaming keyboard that combines analog and mechanical switches. All the details of the keyboard that will be released on May 2 are in our news.

With its new wired keyboard model G512 X, Logitech offers gamers the opportunity to use analog and mechanical switches on the same device. This new model draws attention with its hybrid structure that allows users to change the keys according to their own preferences.

G512 This feature helps gamers customize their keyboards according to their gaming style.

Hybrid Key Technology and Customization

TMR sensors, the highlight of the keyboard, allow defining two different trigger points for each key. In this way, players can perform operations at different depths during key presses and receive perceptible feedback at the second trigger point.

TMR switches come with rapid trigger support, which allows the keys to be ready for a new input without waiting for them to fully lift up. This technology provides an advantage over competitors, especially in games that require fast movements. However, when users replace the analog switches with mechanical ones, these special features are disabled.

Pricing and Design Options

Logitech G512 The black color option is offered to users with purple details, and the white color option is offered to users with turquoise details.

The 75-key version of the products is sold with a price tag of $179.99, and the 98-key version is sold with a price tag of $199.99. The pre-order process for the keyboards, which will be released on May 2, has started now.

This hybrid approach from Logitech gives gamers the chance to experience both the sensitivity of analog switches and the familiar structure of mechanical switches on the same keyboard.

How much do you think combining analog and mechanical switches on a single keyboard changes the gaming experience?
