iQOO has introduced its new generation concept smartphone, the iQOO This device, not yet commercially available, has excited technology enthusiasts with its hardware specifications and striking design details that look like they belong to years from now.
According to information shared at the event, the device is powered by the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 10 Pro processor and the brand’s own QX e-sports chip. Featuring a horizontal, pill-shaped camera island, the iQOO main sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens.
- The iQOO X concept distinguishes itself from its Competitors not only with its processing power but also with its power storage capacity. While exceeding the 10,000 mAh mark is considered a difficult goal in the current smartphone market, iQOO is setting a standard with a 15,000 mAh battery capacity in this concept. This takes the device’s lifespan and performance continuity to a different level.
Future-proof Hardware Introduced
Innovations in screen technology are one of the most striking aspects of the device.
Thanks to the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor covering half of the screen and the under-display selfie camera, the device promises a true full-screen experience. In addition, thanks to the dynamic AI partitioning feature, different parts of the screen can be refreshed independently. This feature optimizes power efficiency while maximizing image quality.
Camera and Pricing Strategy Determined
On the imaging side, iQOO aims for a professional photography experience with a 200MP Sony main camera and a 200MP Samsung periscope telephoto lens. This system, supported by a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, aims to capture high-resolution details.
The pricing list shared by the company shows that options starting with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage go up to 8,599 Chinese Yuan. However, considering the current memory shortage and rising costs in the market, it is predicted that the final selling price could be much higher if this device goes into mass production. The possibility of the concept being released with such a high price tag could completely change the understanding of the luxury segment in the industry.
