Exciting developments continue in the Apple world. In this video, we take a detailed look at the highly anticipated dummy models of the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the iPhone Ultra, expected to be Apple’s first foldable phone.
Thanks to these life-size dummy models, which we received through case manufacturer Zore Accessories, we have the chance to see the dimensions, design touches, and how they will feel in our hands before the launch.
It is said that these three ambitious models will be featured at the Apple launch expected in September. It is rumored that Apple may follow a split launch strategy this year, postponing the standard iPhone 18 models to the first quarter of 2027.
In other words, all attention will be focused on the Pro series and the foldable iPhone Ultra at the fall event. New color options, battery improvements, and the impact of increased chip production costs on the price are also among the main topics discussed in this video.
What Will the iPhone 18 Pro and Foldable iPhone Ultra Be Like?
The dummy models we have show that the general design lines are maintained on the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max sides, but the Dynamic Range on the screen side will be noticeably smaller.
However, valuable innovations such as variable aperture main camera technology, Sony IMX905 sensor support, and increased battery capacities await users.
The foldable iPhone Ultra, on the other hand, attracts attention with its structure resembling the iPad Mini, titanium case, dual rear cameras, and Touch ID integrated into the power button, or next-generation biometric security claims.
iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max Specifications
According to the information received, the iPhone 18 Pro models will be powered by TSMC’s A20 Pro chip, which is manufactured using a 2-nanometer process and offers high performance and power efficiency.
While the 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screen sizes will be retained, a switch to the more power-efficient LTPO+ display panel technology is planned. Additionally, it is stated that the Dynamic Range will be reduced by approximately 35% due to the relocation of some of the Face ID components under the screen.
In the camera system, a first in iPhone history is expected: the 48-megapixel Fusion main camera will feature variable aperture technology. This will allow users to physically adjust the lens aperture to capture more light in low light conditions or manually control the depth of field relative to the ground.
Furthermore, the devices will include Apple’s designed C2 5G modem and Wi-Fi 7-enabled N2 chip, as well as advanced connectivity features offering direct satellite internet and data usage.
In terms of battery capacity, the iPhone 18 Pro Max model is expected to reach approximately 5,500 mAh, offering the longest battery life in the series. The devices are expected to come with a combination of titanium and a redesigned Ceramic Shield rear glass to keep the chassis lightweight and increase durability.
Due to the global increase in chip and memory costs, leaked information suggests that the iPhone 18 Pro series may be offered for sale with a starting price between $100 and $300 higher than previous generations.
iPhone Ultra Specifications
This indicates that Apple aims to quickly and completely eliminate the crease problem in the iPhone Ultra model. When fully opened, the device has a huge inner screen, approximately 7.8 inches wide, like an iPad, and when closed, its 5.5-inch outer screen allows for comfortable one-handed use. The chassis design uses liquid metal hinges, titanium and aluminum alloy; the device is planned to be one of the thinnest models in Apple history, remaining only 4.5 mm thick when opened.
Due to its slim design, the model will not feature the TrueDepth camera system and will instead have Touch ID integrated into the power button, familiar from iPad models.
In terms of performance, it is expected to be powered by TSMC’s A20 chip, manufactured with 2-nanometer architecture, and 12 GB of RAM. The telephoto lens will be omitted, opting for a dual rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel main and ultra-wide-angle lens, while the front cameras will be either in-display or punch-hole design with a 24-megapixel resolution.
Thanks to the 4:3 aspect ratio on the inner screen, a simplified multitasking structure will be offered on iOS, allowing users to run two applications side-by-side.
With a massive battery capacity of approximately 5,400 to 5,800 mAh, the iPhone Ultra is expected to constitute Apple’s most luxurious segment in terms of price. According to the latest leaked data, the device is expected to launch with a fairly high starting price tag between $2,000 and $2,500.
