A critical roadmap for Intel’s next-generation Nova Lake architecture, which is preparing to strongly respond to AMD’s 3D V-Cache advancements in the desktop processor market, has been leaked. New presentation slides reveal the mass production schedule, release dates, and when the highly anticipated 52-core dual-computing unit models will be available, targeting gamers with “BLLC” (large last-level cache) support.
Nova Lake-S Release Schedule Becoming Clearer: First Models in Early 2027
According to documents leaked from a Chinese business partner presentation, Intel is starting mass production of Nova Lake-S desktop processors at the end of this year. The first target date for the processors to reach end-users is the first quarter of 2027 (Q1 2027). The series, which will gradually expand throughout the year, will begin to give way to the Razor Lake architecture towards the end of 2027.
Intel is deviating from its usual strategy with this launch. Normally, the blue team releases its top-of-the-line and most powerful models on day one, but this time it is launching single-tile 28-core models first. The massive flagship configurations will be released later in the year.

On the other hand, bottlenecks that the 52-core peak models may experience in the DDR5 memory interface are already becoming a topic of discussion in the hardware world.
