Intel has released the 32.0.101.8974 WHQL graphics driver for Arc graphics cards and Core Ultra processors with Arc graphics units. The new update provides performance improvements in popular games while also eliminating many technical issues.
The driver brings noticeable performance improvements to games such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Farming Simulator 2022, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. Additionally, errors encountered in games like GTA V Enhanced, Forza Horizon 6, Minecraft Java, and Monster Hunter Wilds are fixed with this version.
Performance and Bug Fixes Included with the Driver
Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors deliver a 7% higher average FPS in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla at medium settings and an 11% higher average FPS at high settings with their integrated graphics units. Farming Simulator 2022 shows performance increases of up to 13% at medium settings and 9% at high settings.
Arc B series graphics cards experience up to a 5% performance increase in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II compared to the previous version. The issue of blurry objects in GTA V Enhanced at high graphics settings on Core Ultra Series 3 processors is completely resolved.
Reflection quality issues in Forza Horizon 6 and vibrations on the water surface in Jurassic World Evolution 3 are also fixed with the new driver. The bug that caused Minecraft to crash in Java’s Vulkan mod with CapFrameX or RivaTuner Statistics Server is no longer present.
Similarly, GTA V Enhanced and Forza Horizon 6 fixes are applied to Arc A series graphics cards. Image distortions in the ship design interface in Endless Space 2 are eliminated with this update.
The crashing issue in Monster Hunter Wilds on startup is fixed for Core Ultra Series 1 processors. Core Ultra Series 2 users are also freed from the landscape flickering issue in Assassin’s Creed 2.
There are also significant improvements on the Intel Graphics Software side. The issue of the reset all settings option crashing the application and errors in the metric selection window are corrected.
Driver Support and Known Issues
New driver; The driver supports Arc B580, B570, Arc A770, A750, A580, A380, and A310 models, as well as portable Arc GPUs. Integrated graphics units in Core Ultra Series 1, 2, and 3 processors are also fully compatible with the driver.
The package, which supports various versions of Windows 10 and Windows 11, is approximately 872.2 MB in size. The driver provides full support for new graphics technologies such as DirectX 12, Vulkan 1.4, and OpenGL 4.6.
On some systems, minor glitches still persist in games like Marathon and Payday 2. Additionally, crashes may occur in some applications when using XeSS Multi-Frame Generation.
Intel states that the Performance Tuning feature is still in beta. It is known that the software sometimes attempts to make changes on the wrong device in multi-GPU systems.
To avoid crashes in the PugetBench for DaVinci Resolve Studio test, it is recommended to increase the timeout value above 1500 seconds. Do you think this new driver has improved your gaming experience?
