Huawei Mate 90 Pro Max Leaked Specifications

Huawei Mate 90 Pro Max Leaked Specifications

Leaked specifications and design of the Huawei Mate 90 Pro Max have been clarified. Everything about the new Kirin 9050 Pro processor, camera details and fingerprint sensor.

Valuable details about the Huawei Mate 90 Pro Max, a model eagerly awaited by the technology world, have surfaced. Expected to be released in September, the new series is particularly noteworthy for its revolutionary Kirin 9050 Pro processor. According to leaked information, the device is equipped with a new architecture that increases performance and power efficiency, while retaining the familiar side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric security. Huawei’s new flagship is poised to be one of the most competitive smartphones of 2026 with its high-capacity battery and advanced camera capabilities.

  • The Huawei Mate 90 Pro Max is powered by the new Kirin 9050 Pro processor with 3D circuit stacking technology.
  • The device offers a very high battery capacity ranging from 6800mAh to 7000mAh.
  • The new smartphone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint reader instead of an in-display ultrasonic sensor.
  • The HarmonyOS 7 operating system enriches the user experience with its gaming-focused features and the advanced AI assistant Xiaoyi.

Huawei is abandoning the classic transistor layout and switching to a new manufacturing technology that pushes the boundaries of performance.

Performance Boosts with Kirin 9050 Pro

The Kirin 9050 Pro used in the new Mate 90 Pro Max model is based on Huawei’s innovative 3D circuit structure, which it describes as “logical folding.” This technology increases transistor density by 53.5% compared to the previous generation, while reducing the chip area by 37.5%. The 41% reduction in power consumption allows the device to operate much more efficiently.

Screen and Hardware Details Becoming Clearer

The device features a 6.9-inch dual-layer OLED panel on the front offering 1.5K resolution. Thanks to LTPO technology, the screen can optimize the refresh rate depending on the type of content. Additionally, new standards such as 100W fast charging support and WiFi 7 connectivity complete the device’s technical infrastructure. In terms of design, the rounded lines on the corners of the flat screen provide an aesthetically pleasing look.

The 200MP main sensor in the camera system promises a professional-level photography experience.

Camera and Security Features Offered

The camera setup offers a highly competitive structure with a 200MP main sensor, as well as a 40MP ultra-wide-angle and a 50MP dual telephoto lens. Third-generation red maple color processing technology maximizes color accuracy. In terms of biometric security, users will continue to compete with the side-mounted fingerprint reader familiar from the Mate 80 series.

What do you think of Huawei’s new design choices, especially the side-mounted fingerprint reader? Do you think this method, instead of in-screen sensors, increases ease of use? Don’t forget to share your comments with us below.
