HP introduced its new LaserJet Pro and Enterprise printer series with artificial intelligence support and quantum security at the Imagine 2026 event. New generation models accelerate hybrid workflows and reduce cyber risks by 80 percent.
Highlights of the Development:
The Age of Quantum Security:Designed for SMEs and large enterprises, the new series are among the world’s first quantum secure printer solutions and reduce the risks of cyber attacks by up to 80 percent.
AI Powered Workflow:Thanks to HP Scan AI Enhanced and Microsoft 365 Copilot integration, documents are automatically organized, summarized and sensitive data is censored by smart systems.
Cost and Power Savings:The new generation TerraJet Toner technology offers up to 25 percent lower printing costs and lower power consumption compared to older generations.
Powerful Performance for SMBs: HP LaserJet Pro 4000/4100
Especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that do not have a large IT (Information Technologies) department experience great difficulties in managing hardware and consumables. The “Workflow Wakeup” report shared by HP clearly reveals this situation. According to the research, 78 percent of SMEs have difficulties in managing printers and consumables, while 80 percent are planning to switch to new generation printer software to facilitate operations. What’s more, 70 percent of businesses anticipate shifting their IT budgets to AI-driven technologies by 2027.
This is where the HP LaserJet Pro 4000/4100 series comes into play, offering an extremely easy-to-install and low-cost alternative for businesses with limited IT support. The series, which has the fastest automatic double-sided printing capability in its class, comes with Wi-Fi 6 connection support. Thanks to their compact design, the devices do not take up much space in office environments and enable remote working teams to safely connect to the corporate network. New TerraJet Toner technology allows printing 11 percent more pages using less toner in a smaller cartridge. This combines with a cost advantage of up to 25 percent for businesses and a 3-year warranty period. On the security side, the tamper-proof toner chip and quantum security protocols attract attention.
For Corporate Giants and Heavy Offices: LaserJet Enterprise 5000/6000
For large-scale companies, public institutions and businesses with complex network infrastructures, the speed of workflows and data security are vital. Today, 47 percent of organizations are modernizing their printing infrastructures to support hybrid working models, while 54 percent are accelerating their transition to digital workflows. However, digitalization also brings with it major cyber risks. Experts estimate the probability of cyber attacks via quantum computers to be 34 percent by 2034.
HP LaserJet Enterprise 5000/6000 series creates a quantum-level defense shield against these threats with its HP Wolf Enterprise Security infrastructure and reduces the risk of cyber attack by 80 percent. On the performance side, it alleviates the entire burden of heavy offices with automatic double-sided scanning of 200 images per minute (ipm) and printing speed of up to 57 pages per minute (ppm). The maintenance of the devices is also designed to not disrupt operations; 90 percent of modules requiring service can be easily replaced in less than eight minutes. Thanks to HP FutureSmart product software, the entire printer fleet stays new at all times.
A New Era in Document Management with Artificial Intelligence
One of the biggest innovations in the Enterprise series is the advanced artificial intelligence features integrated directly into the printer panel. HP Scan AI Enhanced and Editable OCR technology turns massive stacks of documents into scannable, searchable and editable digital documents in seconds. This system saves employee time by reducing manual data processing times by 50 percent.
Auto Censor and Copilot Support
Another critical advantage offered by artificial intelligence is the Automatic Guided Redaction system. This feature automatically detects personal data, identity information or financial reports in scanned documents and closes these sensitive areas. In this way, human error is prevented and legal compliance needs are met without the need for an additional review step for IT teams. In addition, thanks to the HP for Microsoft 365 Copilot integration provided through the HP Workpath application, employees can summarize, translate and rename documents in cloud drives directly using the control panel of the multi-function printer (MFP).
Eco-Friendly and Sustainable Design
HP prioritizes sustainability principles as well as high performance and security in its new printer families. The new generation monochrome TerraJet toners used in both the Pro and Enterprise series consume much less power during printing, thanks to their low-temperature melting structure. The cartridges used in the Enterprise series contain 30 percent recycled plastic material. Both series promise environmentally sensitive operation by holding the global environmental standards ENERGY STAR, EPEAT Gold and Blue Angel certificates, which is considered the most reputable environmental label in Europe.
