Honor has officially announced its new tablet, the Honor Pad 20 Pro. The device stands out with its large 12.1-inch screen, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, and 10,100mAh battery.
This new model, a successor to the Honor Pad 20 released in May, also comes with a special Paperlike Edition option featuring an anti-reflective screen that gives a paper-like feel. All the technical details of the new Pro model were eagerly awaited.
Honor Pad 20 Pro Technical Specifications and Capabilities
The Honor Pad 20 Pro features a 12.1-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 3000 x 1872 pixels. This screen offers a 165Hz refresh rate, stands out with its 292ppi density and 1.07 billion color support.
The screen reaches a brightness level of 700 nits and covers the DCI-P3 color gamut. Honor includes various eye protection technologies in the device, such as global DC dimming, dynamic dimming, and hardware-level low blue light.
The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor and runs on the Android 16-based MagicOS 10 operating system. The device has a PC Mode that offers multi-window support, keyboard and mouse usage, and a desktop interface.
The AI Memo feature offers functions such as recording meetings, converting audio to text, summarizing, and creating mind maps. The tablet also supports the Honor Magic-Pencil 4s, which provides up to 10 hours of uninterrupted writing with a 50-minute charge.
The 10,100mAh battery promises up to 12 hours of video playback, 7 hours of gaming, and 13 hours of reading time. For audio, there’s a six-speaker stereo system with DTS Ultra support.
For photography, there’s a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0, but the device does not have a SIM card slot.
The tablet has a design with a thickness of 6.29mm and weighs approximately 537 grams. The device’s body is available in gray.
Price and Availability
There is currently no official price or release date announced for the Honor Pad 20 Pro. In addition to the standard model, the Paperlike Edition version, offering a paper-like texture for a more comfortable viewing experience, is also available.
