Honor Pad 20 Introduced with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 Processor

Honor Pad 20 was officially introduced with its 12.1 inch 3K screen, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, iOS compatibility and 10,100 mAh battery.

In addition to its 600 series smartphones and Watch 6 Plus smart watch, Honor is also officially introducing the new Honor Pad 20 model, which will change the stability in the tablet market, at the large-scale event it organized in China.

Powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, one of Qualcomm’s flagship processors, this new tablet promises a high-quality visual feast with its 12.1-inch 3K resolution and 120Hz screen.

The device, which offers a long usage life with its huge battery of 10,100 mAh capacity, arouses great curiosity in the technology world, especially thanks to the cross-platform support compatible with the Apple ecosystem offered by the MagicOS 10 operating system based on Android 16.

“Soft Light” Difference in Screen Technology

Honor Pad 20 has a 12.1-inch TFT LCD IPS panel that takes the visual experience to the next level. Offering a high resolution of 3000 x 1872 pixels, this screen provides a very smooth experience with its 120Hz variable refresh rate.

With its 700 nits peak brightness, 1500:1 contrast ratio and 1.07 billion color support, it provides clear and vivid images in all light conditions.

The company offers two different screen variants on this tablet according to the needs of the users. In addition to the standard version, the “Soft Light Edition”, developed especially for long hours of reading and students, attracts attention.

This special edition uses a dual-layer matte anti-glare coating that significantly reduces reflections. This technology, which imitates paper texture, minimizes eye fatigue while taking notes or reading a book.

Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and MagicOS 10 with AI Boost

On the hardware side, the tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, which goes through 4 nm production process.

This processor; It comes with one Cortex-A715 main core running at 2.63GHz, three Cortex-A715 cores at 2.4GHz and four Cortex-A510 cores at 1.8GHz.

This powerful architecture prevents lags in multitasking and applications that require heavy graphics.

On the software side, the Android 16-based MagicOS 10 operating system comes into play. This version, which has a desktop-like interface, gives the feeling of a desktop computer with its multi-window support.

In addition, the company integrates various artificial intelligence tools into the system, such as lecture transcription, automatic note editing and exam preparation assistant for students.

The device also supports the Honor Magic-Pencil 4s pen, which charges via USB-C for creative processes.

Cross-Platform: Full Compatibility with iOS and HarmonyOS

One of the most striking features of the Honor Pad 20 model is the ecosystem flexibility it offers.

Unlike traditional Android tablets, this device; It offers surprising cross-platform support with Android, HarmonyOS and even iOS devices.

Users can transfer documents with products in the Apple ecosystem, pair Apple AirPods headphones without any problems, and benefit from cross-device collaborative editing capabilities.

This feature creates great convenience for professionals who use different operating systems at the same time.

Camera, Battery and Pricing

For online meetings and daily photo shoots, there are 8 Megapixel resolution cameras with f/2.0 and f/2.2 apertures on both the back and front of the device. The tablet’s advanced sound system with 6 speakers also supports multimedia consumption.

All this hardware is powered by a huge battery with a capacity of 10,100 mAh. Although there is a 45W charger in the box, the tablet offers 66W fast charging support with a suitable adapter.

The tablet, which went on sale in China on May 27 with gray, green and pink color options, reaches users with different configurations.
