Samsung Galaxy S26 FE reveals the true performance of the Exynos 2500 processor. New leaks detail the device’s test results and specifications.
Samsung could not use the Exynos 2500 processor with 3nm production technology, which it introduced with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 model last year, to its full capacity due to the compact structure of the device. But the upcoming Galaxy S26 FE model is preparing to reveal the true performance potential of this powerful processor, thanks to its larger internal volume and thermal management. According to the information leaked to the Geekbench database, the Exynos 2500 that will be included in the new model offers a much higher processor speed compared to the previous generation foldable device. With this new device, Samsung is expected to set the performance standards in the upper-middle segment again.
With the Galaxy S26 FE, Samsung completely eliminates the limitations of the Exynos 2500 processor.
Leaks Reveal High Performance Prices
Performance data appearing on Geekbench proves that Samsung’s new FE series device is quite ambitious. Exynos 2500 in the Galaxy S26 FE managed to score 2,426 points in the single-core test and 8,004 points in the multi-core test.
These results show that the device will challenge its Competitors not only in daily tasks but also in games and professional applications that require high power. The heating problems encountered in the narrow bodies of foldable phones seem to have been overcome with the classic bar type design of the S26 FE.
Galaxy S26 FE Technical Specifications Offer Improvements
The hardware features offered by the Galaxy S26 FE are not limited to the processor alone. The device’s 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a 120Hz refresh rate promises users a smooth visual experience. In addition to the 50MP main camera, the 12MP ultra wide angle and 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom will make photography enthusiasts happy.
4K 60fps and 8K 30fps video recording capabilities make the device a strong option for content creators.
On the storage and memory side, it is expected to offer 256GB or 512GB internal storage capacity with 8GB RAM option. The device, which is resistant to water and dust with its IP68 certification, fully meets today’s modern smartphone standards. Communication technologies such as USB 3.2 Type-C port, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 maximize the connection speed of the device.
Samsung Continues to Strengthen Its Strategy
Samsung’s FE (Fan Edition) series is mostly known for its strategy of offering flagship features at more affordable prices. Using the Exynos 2500 processor so powerfully in this series shows the company’s desire to maintain its market share and increase user satisfaction. In particular, 45W fast charging support and 4,900mAh battery capacity indicate that the device will not let you down even during long-term use.
