Global demand for AMD’s new generation Venice CPU models has reached unexpected levels, according to recent reports from industry sources. Supply chain audits in the sector reveal that AMD has already sold out all planned Venice processor stock for 2027 and has begun taking orders for 2028 deliveries.

The increasing processor demands of AI workloads and the transition to agentic-based computing systems have driven interest in AMD’s new generation Zen 6 architecture products to its peak. Manufactured with TSMC’s 2nm technology, these powerful processors are establishing an unrivaled position in the data center market.

  • AMD’s entire production capacity for its Zen 6 architecture Venice CPU models for 2027 has been reserved.
  • Due to high demand, the company has started accepting pre-orders for 2028 deliveries.
  • Venice processors are designed for AI-focused data center workloads with their 2nm manufacturing process and high core count.
  • Analysts predict that AMD could ship approximately 6.75 million units in 2027, reaching a revenue volume of $51 billion.

Venice Processors Expand Market Share

AMD’s Venice series, based on the Zen 6 architecture, promises a major technological leap on the server side. The product range; The SP7, SP8, Venice-X, and Verano series consists of customized models for different requirements. The SP7 model, in particular, stands out with its support for up to 256 Zen 6c cores and 512 threads. [image_1] These processors more than meet the speed expectations of modern data centers thanks to their 1.6 TB/s bandwidth and PCIe Gen6 support.

The Venice-X variant, combined with 3D V-Cache technology, reaches clock speeds above 5 GHz, supporting high-performance sandbox environments required for AI spying. The Verano series, with its LPDDR5X-SOCAMM2 integration, offers power-efficient and fast connectivity options for server nodes. This variety allows AMD to appeal to a wide range of customers across different segments.

The Dimension of Competition is Being Reshaped

Market analysts emphasize that NVIDIA’s self-developed processors do not currently pose a significant threat to the x86 server market. In particular, the high costs and cost-efficiency problems associated with ARM-based software migration processes are driving businesses towards AMD’s established x86 ecosystem. [image_2] Market reviews show that existing data center infrastructures are increasingly opting for solutions compatible with the classic x86 architecture during this migration process.

According to Morgan Stanley reports, Venice unit shipments, which were around 1.25 million in 2026, are expected to reach 6.75 million in 2027. This increase is considered one of the biggest indicators reinforcing AMD’s dominance in the processor market. The fact that the company’s products are sold until 2028 creates a strong sense of confidence for investors regarding the future.
