Countdown Has Begun for Vivo S60 Series

Countdown Has Begun for Vivo S60 Series

Specifications of Vivo S60 have been leaked. The device, which draws attention with its 1.5K screen, powerful MediaTek processor and fast charging features, is preparing to change the balance in the middle-upper segment.

Vivo is preparing to renew the S series, which attracts great attention in the middle-upper segment. Although no official announcement has been made yet, the first leaks about the Vivo S60 model, which is the brand’s next stop, created a stir in the technology world. The new model, which draws attention especially with its improvements in performance and display, aims to offer a more modern hardware package compared to its predecessor. Information from reliable sources of Chinese origin shows that the device promises an assertive experience in both gaming and daily use.

  • The device is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8000 series processor focused on high performance and energy efficiency.

  • On the screen side, a panel with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate that can reach high brightness values is used.

  • With the improvements made in battery and fast charging technologies, it is planned to offer users uninterrupted use all day long.

Powerful Performance and New Generation Processor

According to leaked information, Vivo S60 pushes the limits of its class on the performance side. It is almost certain that there will be a MediaTek signed processor at the heart of the device. In particular, including an updated version of the Dimensity 8000 series ensures that the device provides a stable performance not only in social media and basic applications, but also in high-graphics games. This processor architecture activates maximum power when needed while preserving battery life thanks to artificial intelligence-supported optimizations.

Modern standards are also maintained on the memory and storage side. In addition to 8 GB and 12 GB RAM options in Vivo’s new model, it is said that it will increase this capacity even further with virtual RAM support. On the storage side, UFS 3.1 technology, starting from 256 GB and extending up to 512 GB, minimizes file transfer speeds and application opening times.

A Visual Feast in Screen Technology

The traditional stylish design of the S series combines with an advanced display panel in the S60 model. According to leaks, the OLED panel that will be included in the device offers 1.5K resolution, promising users sharp and vibrant colors. The 120Hz screen refresh rate, which is especially critical for content consumers and mobile gamers, takes interface fluency to the next level.

Eye Health and High Brightness

Not only the speed but also the comfort of the screen is prioritized. It is stated that Vivo S60 reduces eye fatigue in low-light environments thanks to its high PWM dimming technology. In addition, high peak brightness values that increase the readability of the screen under sunlight provide great convenience in outdoor use.

Camera and Design Details

Vivo S series has always stood out with its selfie capabilities. It seems that this tradition is not broken in the S60 model. While a triple camera setup is expected on the back, it is said that the main camera will come with optical image stabilization (OIS) support. In this way, it becomes possible to shoot clear and shake-free videos even in low light conditions.

In terms of design, Vivo continues its philosophy of thinness and lightness. The device, which is expected to retain its curved edge structure, attracts attention with its new color options and increase in material quality. The special coating used on the back of the device offers an aesthetic texture that does not retain fingerprints and changes color according to the angle of incidence of light.

Fast Charging and Battery Capacity

Fast charging technology, one of the most important elements supporting mobility, is also evident in Vivo S60. The device comes with fast charging support of 80W or above, allowing it to reach full charge in approximately 30-40 minutes. The battery capacity is expected to be between 4700 mAh and 5000 mAh and will easily last a day even with heavy use.

The Vivo S60 series is expected to be introduced first in the Chinese market in the coming months, and then enter the global market with a different naming (probably under the V series).
