ASUS has announced the new ProArt GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card with NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and 32 GB GDDR7 memory. Here are the details of the compact design.
ASUS has announced the ProArt GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card, developed for professional content creators, AI developers, and compact PC users. Based on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, this new model stands out with its 32 GB GDDR7 memory capacity and 3352 AI TOPS performance value.
The card is equipped with features such as a compact 2.5-slot cooling system and an integrated USB Type-C port. This design is specifically tailored for workstations and small form factor computer systems.
Compact design and high cooling performance
The ProArt GeForce RTX 5090 is ASUS’s first RTX 5090 model with a 2.5-slot thickness. Combining high-end hardware in a narrower chassis, this card offers an advantage in systems with a high density of expansion cards.
The graphics card incorporates NVIDIA’s new RTX technologies and DLSS 4.5 support. These technologies include Multi Frame Generation, enhanced Ray Reconstruction, Super Resolution, and Frame Warp-supported Reflex 2.
ASUS uses liquid metal thermal compound and a large vapor chamber in the card to manage heat within the compact chassis. Two different ventilation zones on the backplate ensure efficient airflow from the fans.
The cooling system, supported by larger 115mm Axial-tech fans, offers 11% higher efficiency compared to single-flow designs. The ProArt model’s chassis is 27% smaller than classic designs.
Connectivity and Design Details
The integrated USB Type-C port on the ProArt GeForce RTX 5090 allows portable displays to be directly connected to the card. This feature reduces the need for additional connectivity solutions in multi-monitor setups and professional workstations.
On the design side, the black and gold color palette of the ProArt family is preferred. The brown laminate finish and geometric lines on the front edge create visual unity with the ASUS ProArt PA401 Wood Edition and PA602 Wood Edition cases.
Performance management is carried out through ASUS GPU Tweak III software. Users can monitor clock speeds, fan curves, and power consumption in detail through this software.
When OC Mode is enabled, GPU clock speeds increase, shortening processing times in visual and creative applications. The OSD Wizard feature allows for real-time monitoring of performance information during games and applications.
