At Apple’s “Surprise and Shine” event, iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and the foldable iPhone Duo were introduced. Immediately following the event, the company also increased the prices of existing iPhone models in Türkiye. The price increase covers iPhone 17, iPhone 17e, iPhone Air and iPhone 16. iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max have been completely removed from the Apple Store Turkey list, replaced by the iPhone 18 Pro series.

What are the new prices of iPhone models?
The standard iPhone 17, one of the most preferred main models of the series, has exceeded the 80 thousand TL mark with the increase. The iPhone 17e, which offers a more accessible option, has reached the 60 thousand TL mark.

The sharpest proportional increase in the series was seen in the iPhone 17e, positioned as the “affordable” model: with an increase exceeding 21%, the entry-level model was moved to the 73,000 TL range.

The increase is fundamentally due to the global memory crisis triggered by artificial intelligence data centers. On June 25th, Apple raised the prices of Mac and iPad globally, while iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods were exempt from that increase. The company announced today in the US that the iPhone 18 Pro will be priced at $1,199 and the iPhone 18 Pro Max at $1,299, a $100 increase compared to the previous generation.
In Turkey, this marks the second price increase in four months: Apple Turkey also increased the price of the iPhone 17 series by between 5,000 and 13,000 TL in May 2026.
