A data breach in Apple’s supply chain caused images of the iPhone 18 Pro model, which has not been introduced yet, to leak onto the internet. As part of this leak, images containing the durability tests of the device were circulated on social media platforms.

After the images in question were shared on the X platform, the contents were quickly removed with Apple’s intervention. While the relevant posts were deleted on the grounds that they violated the platform rules, sanctions were imposed on the accounts that made the leak.

According to information shared by Reuters, Tata Electronics, one of Apple’s important suppliers, experienced a data breach. As a result of this breach, cut lists for the iPhone 18 Pro model and photos of the drop test of the device appeared on platforms known as the dark web.

In the images shared on X, a gray device with a triple camera setup and the Apple logo is seen being tested. Well-known leak sources such as IceUniverse shared screenshots indicating that Apple is actively working to block this information.

Even though the posts on the platform were deleted, the images continued to spread by being uploaded by different accounts. Apple has not yet made an official statement regarding this data breach and leaks.
