HONOR continues to expand its product range and officially announced its new wireless headset, Earbuds 5e. The device, introduced with the launch in China, comes with remarkable features such as advanced active noise cancellation and long battery life.

HONOR, which carries its success in the smartphone market to different categories, prefers a silicone-free design in its new headset. Positioned as an affordable option, this model stands out with both its technical equipment and the sound technologies it offers.

Technical Specifications and Audio Performance

HONOR Earbuds 5e are offered to users with their semi-in-ear design, each weighing 4 grams. The device is resistant to dust and water thanks to its IP54 certification.

Inside the headset, there is a 12 mm dynamic driver with a diamond-like carbon diaphragm. This special material has a much harder structure than standard titanium or gold coatings to minimize sound distortion.

Offering LHDC 5.0 codec support on the sound quality side, the model allows 24-bit audio transmission with Hi-Res Audio certification. The adaptive noise canceling system automatically adjusts according to environmental conditions and provides noise reduction performance of up to 52 dB.

Each headset has a triple microphone system to ensure clarity in phone calls. This system uses special algorithms to filter background noise, while also improving call quality with its wind noise blocking feature.

Battery Life and Additional Features

HONOR Earbuds 5e offers up to 9 hours of use on a single charge when active noise canceling is turned off. With the charging box, this duration can be up to 45 hours in total.

When the active noise canceling feature is turned on, the headphones provide a battery life of 5.5 hours, and a total of 28 hours with the box. Thanks to the fast charging support, only 10 minutes of charging gives users 3 hours of listening time.

Another striking feature of the device is its translation ability that supports 15 different languages. There is currently no information about when the headset, which is offered for sale in the Chinese market with a price tag of 44 dollars, will go on sale in other countries.
