Access to R10.net, one of Türkiye’s largest webmaster and digital entrepreneurship platforms, has been blocked. According to the information obtained, the relevance of the decision has not been officially notified to the R10.net administration at this stage. In its statement on the matter, the administration emphasized that the platform operates as a “location provider” within the scope of Law No. 5651 and in accordance with the legislation.

In the statement, referring to past examples, it was evaluated that the blocking of access to the entire site, while the relevant individual content or URL should have been blocked, may have resulted from a lack of information or a procedural error. The administration stated that it has completed the necessary official applications to clarify the content and legal support of the decision, and that it will initiate the legal objection process without delay as soon as the reasoned decision is received.

R10.net administration stated that, considering its current legal status and past experiences, it expects the access problem to be removed as soon as possible as a result of legal initiatives. The administration also announced that they are conducting the process transparently and will share any new developments from official authorities with their users without delay.

R10.net was previously blocked from access by the decision of the Samsun 3rd Criminal Judgeship of Peace dated December 11, 2023, and the process was resolved following legal initiatives.
