One of the most striking details of the seat is that the seat belt buckle has been re-functioned. This buckle is used as a USB-C port so users can charge their devices.
The chair, which can also operate wirelessly thanks to its internal battery, provides users with full freedom of movement. Adjustments such as height, lumbar support, inclination and back angle can be made silently with the help of electric motors.
High-Level Materials and Technical Details
In the production of the seat, leather upholstery and high-density sponge filling materials at automotive standards are preferred. The product, which has a reinforced skeleton structure, is supported by office chair base technology provided by Itoki.
The width of the product is 28 inches and the height is 42 inches. Offering a maximum seat height of 29 inches, the design allows depth adjustment between 21 and 27 inches.
Such designs, inspired by automobile seats, were previously implemented by Nissan and various German automobile manufacturers in different collaborations. This move by Toyota creates a new option for users who want to bring the comfort of automobile interiors to their work spaces.
