After Fallout, Now Atomfall is Becoming a TV Series

Rebellion’s post-apocalyptic game Atomfall is preparing to hit the screens as a television series. Here are the first details about the series project.

Atomfall, a game developed by Rebellion and set in the Lake District of England after the nuclear disaster, is getting ready to be brought to television screens. A formal agreement has been reached with Two Brothers Pictures to produce the project.

The game is about the struggle of a character suffering from memory loss to survive in a mysterious quarantine zone after a nuclear disaster. This adventure, which draws attention with its atmosphere and post-apocalyptic structure reminiscent of the Fallout series, will now meet the audience in series format.

Details of the TV Series Project

The script of the series will be written by Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning writer-producers Harry and Jack Williams. The duo expressed their excitement about transferring the play’s unique British identity and unsettling atmosphere to the world of television.

Rebellion founders Jason and Chris Kingsley will executive produce the project. The Kingsley brothers stated that they were impressed by the screenwriters’ passion for the game’s source material and the original interpretations they developed for the game’s ending.

The project is currently in the very early stages of development. No official statement has been made yet about details such as the cast, the number of episodes of the series or the broadcast date.

From Game World to Screens

Atomfall is the newest production to join the bandwagon of video game adaptations that have become increasingly popular lately. Work continues on television and cinema projects, as well as big-budget games such as God of War and Tomb Raider.

This new adaptation of the game world is eagerly awaited by both gamers and TV series enthusiasts. What kind of impact do you think the post-apocalyptic world of Atomfall will have on television screens? What do you think about this adaptation?
