Apple’s foldable phone iPhone Ultra is coming in autumn with 6 new features and innovative design. A20 Pro processor and Touch ID details are in our news.
Apple is preparing to launch its first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Ultra, which is highly anticipated in the technology world, this fall. According to the information shared by Mark Gurman, this new device, which can be folded into a book, will be a turning point in Apple’s portable product range. Drawing attention with its titanium frame, wrinkle-free screen structure and high-performance A20 Pro processor, iPhone Ultra aims to combine both phone and tablet experience in a single body. With this upper segment device, Apple aims to set a new standard in the portable world by offering its users special software developments and advanced hardware features.
Design Sets New Standards
iPhone Ultra will have a larger form factor, unlike classic foldable devices. While the outer screen of the device offers a shorter and wider structure than standard iPhone models, when the inner screen is opened, it reaches the size of an iPad. Apple is achieving a great engineering success by completely solving the wrinkle problem on the folding part of the screen. Its slim structure and titanium frame make the device one of Apple’s most ambitious designs in terms of aesthetics.
Screens Reach Unparalleled Dimensions
The device confronts users with two different screens, one outside and the other inside. While the outer screen offers an experience with dimensions of 5.3 to 5.5 inches, the inner screen provides a wide working area of 7.6 to 7.8 inches. This structure allows users to use the device like a phone with one hand and gain the efficiency of a tablet when they turn it on.
With the iPhone Ultra model, Apple offers its users the opportunity to carry an iPhone and an iPad in a single device.
Camera System Offers Professional Analysis
On the back, there is a 48 MP main camera and a 48 MP ultra wide-angle lens. Due to its two different screen structures, the device has two front cameras in total. Apple aims for high quality in video calls by using the Center Stage technology introduced in the iPhone 17 series in this new model.
Software Supports Multiple Missions
The iOS 27 operating system is updated with side-by-side application use and iPad-like interface layouts specifically for the iPhone Ultra. Although it does not offer full-scale window management, the system’s multitasking capabilities have been specifically optimized to increase users’ productivity.
Hardware Promises Strong Performance
The new A20 Pro processor maximizes power efficiency thanks to its 2 nanometer manufacturing process. Apple’s own C2 cellular modem provides significant advantages over Qualcomm solutions in contact speed and efficiency. This hardware, combined with 12 GB RAM capacity, allows the device to perform even the heaviest processes without difficulty.
Choosing Touch ID technology integrated into the power button instead of Face ID for security is seen as a strategic step to preserve the thinness of the device.
Touch ID Returns
Touch ID comes on the scene again for biometric verification on the device where Face ID components cannot be fitted due to the thin case design. Users will be able to access it quickly and safely via the power button on the side of the device.
