The Most Powerful Phone of April Has Been Announced

According to AnTuTu April performance report, iQOO 15 Ultra was at the top. Check out the list of the most powerful phones and tablets with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processors.

AnTuTu has officially announced the Android performance rankings for April, which the technology world has been eagerly awaiting. As a result of extensive tests, iQOO 15The Ultra model, the most powerful member of the series, ranked at the top of the list with its extraordinary performance and won the title of the most powerful smartphone of the month.

Equipped with Qualcomm’s latest generation processors, these devices have gained a significant advantage over their competitors thanks to their high memory capacities and advanced cooling systems. April data clearly reveals the level of hardware power reached not only in smartphones, but also in tablets and mid-segment devices.

  • iQOO 15 Ultra managed to become the most powerful Android phone of April by receiving 4,126,940 points.
  • Nine devices in the top ten of the list are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Ultra Gen 5 processor.
  • iQOO Z11 with MediaTek Dimensity 8500 processor topped the mid-segment category.
  • In the tablet category, Vivo Pad 6 Pro achieved the highest score with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

Qualcomm Absolutely Dominates the Flagship Market

iQOO 15 Ultra, which was at the top of the April performance list, managed to maintain the difference between itself and its Competitors by collecting 4,126,940 points in total. It was immediately followed by iQOO 15, the standard model of the series, with 4,102,621 points.

While both devices are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, they are supported by high-end hardware features such as 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage. Not only raw processing power, but also aggressive performance settings and successful thermal management systems play a critical role in the success of these devices.

In third place is Red Magic 11 Pro+, known for its player-oriented structure, with 4,098,742 points. As an interesting detail, the fact that this device lags behind iQOO models despite having 24 GB RAM capacity proves once again the importance of optimization. Looking at the overall list, the fact that nine of the top ten phones use Snapdragon 8 Ultra Gen 5 reveals Qualcomm’s overwhelming superiority over the market.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor has become indispensable for performance-oriented devices and managed to dominate almost the entire list.

The only exception to the list was the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, which ranked sixth. Using MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 processor, this model attracted attention as the only upper segment device that challenged the Qualcomm hegemony. Compared to March data, it can be seen that iQOO 15 Ultra maintains its leadership, but there are minor fluctuations in the overall scores.

Performance Balances Are Changing in the Mid-Segment and Tablets

While Qualcomm is dominant in the flagship segment, MediaTek has a stronger stance in the middle segment, which AnTuTu calls “sub-flagship”. The leader of this category was the iQOO Z11, powered by the Dimensity 8500 processor and collecting 2,323,047 points. It was followed by Honor Power2 and Oppo K15 Pro models, respectively. The fact that all of these devices in the middle segment are equipped with Dimensity series processors reflects MediaTek’s strategic success in this field.

On the tablet side, performance limits continue to be pushed. Vivo Pad 6 Pro became the new leader of the tablet category with 4,095,813 points. It is followed by Legion Tablet Y700 5th Generation and Oppo Pad 5 Pro models. What these tablets have in common is that they use Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the most powerful processor in the smartphone world. This shows that tablets are now fully on par with flagship phones in terms of performance.

In the tablet world, the scores achieved by Vivo Pad 6 Pro confirm that the performance gap between mobile devices and tablets has now closed.

Compared to the March report, there is a peak change in the tablet category. While Lenovo’s Legion tablet was previously ranked first, the ranking was reshaped with Vivo’s move in April. This rapid change in the performance world proves once again how fierce the competition between brands is.
